Gamedesignerin Auriea Harvey

Künstlerinnenpreis NRW im Bereich Gamedesign

Der Künstlerinnenpreis NRW geht im Hauptpreis an die herausragende europäische Künstlerin Auriea Harvey.

O-Ton Auriea Harvey: „It is both an honor and my pleasure to be awarded the Künstlerinnenpreis NRW 2017! That videogame design can be included in the cycle of such an esteemed artistic prize is an indicator of how far the medium has evolved. And this is an unprecedented moment, this digital art is more open than it has ever been to include the imaginations of all creators, as can be seen in the great festival event this year. I am proud to have been a part of the growing diversity of ideas in videogame culture. I hope it will continue to evolve in ways I cannot imagine.“
